Adoptions

Our adoption fees are $250 for puppies (less than 1 year), $200 for mature dogs (1-7 years), and $150 for seniors (7+ years). All adoption fee proceeds go directly towards providing vet expenses, food, supplies and boarding costs of our rescues. If you're interested in providing a rescue with a forever home, please contact us at adoptions@caresforanimals.org.

Fosters

Have room in your home? Our rescues could also use a foster home instead of living in boarding facilities. CARES will provide you with food supplies and vet care. If you're interested in becoming a foster for any of our rescues, please contact us at fosters@caresforanimals.org.

Meet our superstar, Tucker, who was recently featured on The Pet Lovers Guide (pictured above)! Tucker was rescued from an abusive owner when he was just a 3-month-old pup. His hind leg was missing from a severe leg injury, and was never given the proper medical care. As a result, Tucker's leg was left to heal on its own, and became compounded with paralysis of his lower back.

Tucker went through a series of surgeries to help improve his mobility, and has improved successfully with the help of family, friends, and complete strangers. He now has a custom fit wheelchair, and while there's more work to be done and more support to be raised, he has still remained a happy guy!

He now needs an immediate long-term foster or an adopter who can show the love and support he deserves. Tucker is 3 years old, dog-friendly, and farm animal-friendly. If you would like to know more about our precious Tucker, please contact us at fosters@caresforanimals.org.
